Jeff Schwartz, President of Ashton Manor Environmental, received a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition for being a friend to Montgomery County 4-H and the Kids ‘N Dogs 4-H Club. 4-H is an effective youth development program that focuses on positive and sustainable relationships between youth and adults, activities that build important life skills, and opportunities for youth to be participants and leaders in valued community activities. The key characteristics of Positive Youth Development that 4-H addresses are competence, confidence, character, connection and caring. Due to Jeff’s and his kid’s involvement with 4-H for several years, AME has been a proud donor to the Montgomery County 4-H club.

AME has implemented a new Bring Your Dog to Work policy that will tie the characteristics that 4-H strives upon to our employees morale. Having dogs in the workplace increases productivity and creativity, decreases absenteeism, and improves co-worker relationships and teamwork. The purpose of this policy is to promote employee morale, job satisfaction, and create a pleasant work environment!
