Near the end of 2015, AME took on a project at Owen House, which is now a new home for women who have once been homeless. The landscape installation was finalized in December and the work was completed before the holidays! We installed a paver patio with surface drains, a garden area with over a dozen shrubs and a crape myrtle tree, and river gravel to beautify the space. With all of this work completed, four formerly homeless women have a new home and a beautiful backyard they can enjoy.
Due to AME’s contribution to the community, on January 11th, the Home Builders Care Foundations presented AME the 2015 Tom Sawyer Award! We received this award in recognition of outstanding charitable efforts that inspire the spirit of community service in the building industry! We are honored to receive this award and will continue to give back to the community!
