This past weekend we had a crew hard at work on revitalizing the landscaping at the RFK/Roosevelt Fountain at the Arlington National Cemetery. We also have upcoming sod/repair work that we will be working on as well. It’s an honor to us here at AME to be a part of maintaining the 624-acre grounds that make up this historic cemetery.

With the record amounts of rainfall we have experienced over the past several months, AME has been helping our clients both residential and commercial, to address their erosion and water problems. This project involved a heavily eroded channel that was close to the foundation of this home, and therefore needed to be fully stabilized to prevent further erosion in the future. Our 16th annual company picnic was big hit this year! We all enjoyed each other’s company, and the beautiful weather, while feasting on a pig roast and participating in the many fun games, activities and crafts. This means more busses and more pedestrians on the roads, which is why we dedicated this week’s safety meeting to addressing the importance of safely sharing the road.
