The ideal Estimator candidate will have the ability to create and maintain efficient systems and balance multiple projects. The Project Coordinator works directly with the Project Manager (PM) to manage multiple renovation/construction projects.

As our Estimator you will:

The Estimator position is the first point of contact with prospective clients and industry partners and will be involved in the bid process (budget and schedule), proposal submissions, and communication and collaboration with negotiated and new project opportunities.

The Estimator should have a familiarity with the overall construction process and be comfortable with a fast-paced work environment. Attention to details, problem-solving, organization, and communication skills are necessary to be a successful estimator.

  • Review project plans and construction documents to determine materials and labor pricing.
  • Communicate with purchaser, materials suppliers, and subcontractors to determine project costs.
  • Manage project bid schedule with the understanding that project deadlines must be strictly followed.
  • Evaluate bid opportunities and communicate details to other estimators and project teams.
  • Collaborate with the estimating team, project managers, and upper management to review bid proposals in a clear and concise manner.
  • Clearly communicate project requirements and proposal expectations with project management team and work together to see that project goals are clearly understood.
  • Continually pursue and promote ideas that will improve process efficiency and enhance Company revenue.
The requirements for the Estimator:
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
  • Familiarity with project take-off software and processes.
  • Proficient with blueprint reading.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suites.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Astute attention to detail and ability to interpret expectations of clients and governing bodies.
  • Effective decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of landscaping operations and procedures.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
