AME moviliz\u00f3 todos los recursos disponibles, con su mayor presencia en el Centro M\u00e9dico Militar Nacional Walter Reed de Bethesda, Maryland.  M\u00e1s de 100 hombres y docenas de equipos pasaron cerca de una semana limpiando las calzadas, aceras y aparcamientos.  La m\u00e1xima prioridad fue el helipuerto, ya que el Presidente pudo mantener una visita programada a la sala de los Guerreros Heridos del hospital al d\u00eda siguiente de que terminara la nevada.<\/p>\n<p>La mayor\u00eda est\u00e1 de acuerdo en que ha sido la mayor nevada de una sola tormenta en la historia reciente.  Las tormentas que traen PIES de nieve en lugar de pulgadas afectan a todos; los trabajadores, los operadores, sus familias y los clientes a los que sirven.
