The largest winter storm in many years lived up to expectations and dumped over 30” of snow in some areas over a 30-hour period. AME mobilized every available resource, with their largest presence at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md. Over 100 men and dozens of pieces of equipment spent close to a week clearing the roadways, sidewalks, and a parking decks. Top priority was the heli-pad, as the President was able to keep a scheduled visit to the Wounded Warrior ward at the hospital the day after the snow ended.
Most can agree that this was the most snow from a single storm in recent history. Storms that bring FEET of snow rather than inches impact everyone; the workers, the operators, their families, and the clients they serve. Ashton Manor would like to express its sincere appreciation to all employees and subcontractors for their tireless effort throughout this event!
