Ashton Manor Environmental (AME) is honored to have received the 2023 Platinum Award for ABC Baltimore Excellence in Construction (EIC) for our Avalon Foundry Row project.
EIC is the premier competition within the region that recognized outstanding projects ABC members have built. Avalon Foundry Row was judged based on the highest standards of industry integrity and craftsmanship!
This project encompassed AME’s wide range of services including full-service landscaping, large-scale hardscaping, site furnishings, irrigation, and pergola construction. Avalon Foundry Row was an 11-month project over 8.8. acres of development and construction. Managing schedules, elements, deadlines, and collaborating with several other trades were some obstacles AME faced in order to achieve amazing results and complete Avalon Foundry Row project.
This residential community courtyard build project included:
- 11,000 SF of base concrete slabs for 3,500 SF of slate face pavers and 7,500 SF of Plankstone Pavers
- Furnish and installed 41 footers for lighting bollards throughout the property
- 4,380 SF of concrete deck pool deck construction
- 4,834 SF of concrete banding for dog parks and all paver sections
- 1,515 SF of stamped concrete
- 13,000 SF of walking paths throughout the community
- 8 steel bollards and ADA signage
- 1 outdoor kitchen with multiple grills in the pool area
- 3 additional grills installed on porcelain paver landings in various courtyards
- 7’ diameter stone fire pits with gas insert constructed with CMU and veneer stone
- Multiple seating walls and raised planters constructed with CMU and veneer stone
- 160 SF of porcelain pavers installed in various grilling locations
- 12,000 SF of unit pavers installed throughout 4 courtyards
- 4,000 lbs of boulders installed in strategic locations throughout community
- 18’x30’ pergola in STK Cedar installed on site
- 63’x8’ steel pergola craned and installed in 3 sections in pool courtyard
- Full construction of 5,500 SF artificial turf dog parks [2] on adjacent sides of community
- 3,180 SF of artificial turf recreational spaces install in 2 additional courtyards
- Modular benches, outdoor showers and decorative roof drain inlet protection installation
- 7,600 SY of sod installed throughout entire community
- 43 Zone, 3 POC irrigation system installed
- 390 CY of mulch installed throughout planting beds in community
- 19 CY of mulch installed in bioretention facilities in community
- 280 matures trees of 2” and above furnished and installed
- 2,136 deciduous and evergreen shrubs furnished and installed
- 15,171 groundcovers and perennials furnished and installed
- 1,046 ornamental grasses furnished and installed
- 1,698 landscape plugs for bioretention facilities furnished and installed
- 2,190 CY of topsoil furnished and installed in all planting beds and lawn areas
- 550 CY or organic matter furnished and installed in all planting beds and lawn areas
