On September 22nd, AME Vice President, Eric DuBois, attended the unveiling of the Wellness Garden located at the District Alliance for Safe Housing’s (DASH) Cornerstone residence. AME donated labor and materials to install this multi-purpose outdoor wellness garden, located in Washington, DC. DASH’s Cornerstone program provides 43-units of emergency-to-transitional safe housing and services, and AME is proud to help support such a great organization and project.
Through AME’s donation to Montgomery County Forestry Board, two Montgomery County Students will be afforded to attend the Natural Resources Careers Camp in Garrett County, MD, this summer. AME is honored to support and encourage young adults interested in preserving and improving our environment.

The Frederick Chapter of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition held their 4th Annual Walk to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer on June 17th, and this year’s event was another big success, raising over $90K! Thanks to our clients, friends, and families, AME was again the top team fundraiser with over $12K raised.
