Be Relentless About Improvement

Here at AME we are always looking for new ways to integrate technology to improve our processes and best practices. This month, we rolled out employee ID cards that will be worn by all employees on their new, high visibility safety vests. These cards have a scannable QR code, which allows easy access to each employee’s information, such as emergency contact and medical conditions/allergies. These cards will  help to manage, maintain, and track various items, including reports, trainings, and certifications. We are also using these scannable cards as an easier way to check-in and track attendance at our weekly safety meetings. In addition, they will also be used for safety control and tracking of employees while working on secure job sites. Overall, these cards allow us to manage our records more efficiently, while improving the safety of our employees, which are both very important to us!
