Yearly Archives: 2018
News & Updates
The holiday season is an opportunity to give thanks and celebrate all that we have to be thankful for, so this week we gathered to celebrate each other and our 2018 successes at our annual year-end banquet. The morning was filled with lots of quality time, great food, awards, and raffles!
We would like to recognize and congratulate one employee who reached the 15-year mark at AME, as well as the following 2018 award winners:
15-Year Award – Alejandro Cruz-Cabrera
The dedicated AME Team celebrated the holidays and the closing of another amazing year together. We enjoyed an evening full of magic tricks, awards, mingling, food and cocktails at Far View Farm. Eric Dubois, VP, was recognized for all of his leadership and dedication to AME over the past 10 years. Ben Statler, Gavin Young, and Katie Serrano were awarded “5 Years of Outstanding Service” plaques for their hard work and dedication as well. Thanks for coming out to celebrate, …
In keeping with our long-standing tradition, AME once again showed our sincere appreciation to our employees by handing out Turkeys, including 3 turkeys with a $100 bill hidden on each! With this year’s turkeys, this puts us over 900 turkeys that we have given out over the past 16 years. We wouldn’t be where we are today without such a great team, so thank you all for all that you do. Happy Thanksgiving wishes!
The AME Way: Fundamental #11
AME had a memorable time team building at Sister Axe. It was a thrilling activity that helped to bring us together by encouraging collaboration and teamwork. We were able to see each other in a different light and connect in a new/different setting. It is definitely one for the books!
The AME Way: Fundamental #14
THINK TEAM FIRST. It’s not about you. Never let your own ego or personal agenda get in the way of doing what’s best for …
Keeping things fun at AME, and wishing everyone a happy Halloween!
The AME Way: Fundamental #30
KEEP THINGS FUN. While our passion for excellence is real, remember that the world has bigger problems than the daily challenges that make up our work. Stuff happens. Keep perspective. Don’t take things personally or take yourself too seriously. Laugh every day.
This past weekend we had a crew hard at work on revitalizing the landscaping at the RFK/Roosevelt Fountain at the Arlington National Cemetery. We also have upcoming sod/repair work that we will be working on as well. It’s an honor to us here at AME to be a part of maintaining the 624-acre grounds that make up this historic cemetery.
