In honor of AME closing out an amazing 2017, the office team celebrated the holidays, our successes, and each other together at the Far View Farm on December 20th. Jeff Schwartz, our founder, was recognized for all of his hard work and dedication building AME into the thriving company it is today. He was presented a 15-year anniversary plaque, and VP, Eric Dubois, also presented Jeff with a special President’s Award to congratulate him on all of AME’s successes. Everyone …
On Wednesday, December 20th, AME celebrated the holiday season and successes of 2017 with its year-end banquet. The morning was filled with lots of great food, awards, and raffles!

The AME Team had a great time at this year’s Maryland Building Industry Association’s Chef “Fright” Night and Silent Auction. We paired up with Rutter Project Management to collaborate on our thrilling “Invasive Species” booth, and served Jeff Schwartz’s delicious homemade goose poppers and cheese filled venison meatballs; both were a big hit!
This year was AME’s 15th annual company picnic! Employees, family and friends enjoyed each other’s company while feasting on a pig roast and participating in the many fun games, activities and crafts. At an all-hands, company-wide meeting, Ashton Manor Environmental introduced a new program to help our Team embrace our unique culture. “The AME Way” outlines 30 “Fundamentals” that serve as our guiding principles and practices and detail how we strive to run our business – the way we treat our customers, the way we work with each other, and how we relate to our customers and vendors. On September 22nd, AME Vice President, Eric DuBois, attended the unveiling of the Wellness Garden located at the District Alliance for Safe Housing’s (DASH) Cornerstone residence. AME donated labor and materials to install this multi-purpose outdoor wellness garden, located in Washington, DC. DASH’s Cornerstone program provides 43-units of emergency-to-transitional safe housing and services, and AME is proud to help support such a great organization and project.
